MBI FAITH@WORK II
begins september 24th@7p
- Have you been struggling to deal with this season of pandemic?
- Have you been laid off or lost your job?
- Are you an essential worker who has been serving
others while risking your health and safety?
- Have you or a loved one been affected by the virus?
- Perhaps you have been questioning why God
has allowed this pandemic to occur?
If you have asked yourself any of these questions believe me you’re not alone! This season has affected all of us in some way, but one thing is for sure God is still with us and he has a plan for each of us in this season of pandemic. If you are struggling to see how God is moving in your life in this season then we invite you to join us for our new fellowship study called Faith @ Work 2: “Purpose in Pandemic”.
by ANDY STANLEY
Our current postmodern society is an expert at distorting the truth. The question is how can we learn to discern in a culture of deception? This course will look at four destructive lies that the world currently promotes and will then use the Bible to provide straightforward insights which will help every believer exchange the falsehoods of our current day for the life-changing truths of Scripture.
A SEVEN-WEEK SERIES
Anger: Taming A Powerful Emotion by Gary Chapman. Although anger is a reality of life, it doesn’t have to control our lives. Learn how to control your anger and use it in a way that will allow God to get the glory through you and your relationships with others..
In this seven-week course we will learn how to:
* Recognize the difference between good and bad anger
* Use anger to motivate yourself toward positive change
* Release long-simmering resentment
* Teach others how to deal with anger from a biblical point of view
In these uncertain times, it may seem like there's nothing but bad news all around us but we know that God is showing Himself strong in our midst.
WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR GOOD NEWS!
Record a video (up to 2mins in length) sharing your testimony about how God is moving in your life or in the lives of your family & friends during this time.
